Terms & Conditions

1. General information

Any access or use of signifies your consent to adhere to the following terms and conditions.
Prior to taking any legal or action otherwise, please contact us at to notify us of the nature of the query. will not accept any parcels or packages delivered to us, from you, without prior written communication and agreement.


2. Payments & charges only accepts orders placed directly on the online store’s ordering system.
When an order is placed on, you will receive an email confirming the order and the billing details of the order. Your order represents an offer with us at to purchase the product. The order acceptance will be when the funds have been received and the product(s) have been dispatched to you. Any products on the original order that are not confirmed in the dispatched confirmation email do not form part of that contract.

Payments can and have be made through Apple Pay, Credit Card (Provider: Stripe) or PayPal.

D.L. ROELEN will, however, accept (domestic) money transfers upon request and under specific circumstances described by us. All prices are in the currency noted on the website and include VAT. reserves the right to amend prices on the site at any time. From time to time, despite our endeavor to maintain accurate and correct pricing on the website, there may be mistake(s). If there is a mistake, you will be notified via email before the product(s) are dispatched to you. Shipping charges are not included in the price. The shipping and delivery charge varies by weight, therefore, it is displayed next to each product on the website.

When ordering goods from for overseas deliveries you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance are considered outside of our control and cannot predict the value of what these charges may be. For further information on custom and excise policies in your country, please contact your local customs office. When ordering from you are considered the importer and are therefore responsible to comply with all laws and regulations of the country into which you are receiving the goods.


3. Shipping & delivery times

Usually shipments are made daily and orders placed before 1pm (13h) are dispatched on the following day (max. 3 days to dispatch). However this may differ, especially during COVID-19 times.

We will only ship to the shipping address submitted by the buyer.

Goods are shipped directly from our ware house and all standard delivery shipments have basic insurance. You may request to expedite your order and agree to pay for a premium postal or courier service. This must be agreed in writing via email prior to goods being dispatched.

You will be notified of the status of your order as soon as the payment has been received and the goods are dispatched.

Shipping and delivery times vary depending on the carrier selected. We do not guarantee any delivery times, however, can provide the following estimates, to be considered as a guideline:

  1. Shipments within Germany
    Approximately in 1-4 business days
  2. Shipments within the EU
    Approximately in 2-10 business days
  3. Express Delivery (DHL Express)
    Within 24h-48h after dispatch

In the unlikely event your package does not arrive after 14 business days, please notify us. We will take action to trace the delivery, and if deemed lost, we will gladly arrange for replacement of the good(s) with another comparable product(s).

We at ROELEN will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our contractual obligations with the conditions described in these terms and conditions, if the delay or failure of delivery has arisen from circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control.


4. Liability

Our liability for negligence shall be limited to the value of the individual transaction. shall not be held liable for any indirect, or as a consequence of any special loss, despite any warning or advice to the likelihood of such losses.


5. Returns & Exchanges

Perfumes, purchased on can be returned after notification within 14 days, as long as the original packaging isn’t damaged and bottles unopened/safety seals not broken.

Refunds do not include any custom or tax duties involved in the transaction. Exchanges under the ‘Free Shipping’ promotion will follow the terms and conditions as outlined above.

There is a general strict no-returns policy on all opened or used perfumes.

It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and correctness of the shipment, as well as the responsibility to oversee the product(s) are packaged and delivered in tact. If any matters of liability arise, the matter will be dealt with and settled between the seller and the customer directly. The terms and conditions of the respective seller will apply. All sales are final.

All items that may be authorized to be returned to can be done so with proof of purchase within 14 days if from within Germany, the E.U. and all other countries we ship to. ROELEN does not accept or resume any responsibility for loss of or damage to returned goods whilst in transit from the customer. It is therefore strongly recommended customers use an appropriate carrier with a tracking or trace system. Any occurring cost for the return like shipping, taxes or duties have to be paid by the customer and will be deducted from the refund.

All goods have been quality checked prior to shipping. ROELEN will only exchange or refund goods or funds only if there is proof that the damage and/or defect occurred whilst the goods were in transit.

If there is reason to believe that you have a right of exchange, and is in agreement with the claim, we will send you another product that is considered of comparable quality and value to the one ordered originally. In cases we do not carry such goods, that are deemed comparable, will we consider a refund to be given. Please note, will only refund the price as listed in the original transaction for the item in question, and not the shipping and/or handling fee and/or custom or tax duties involved in the transaction. The customer is responsible for the payment of the packaging and shipping fee for returning the goods, as well as for the shipment of the replacement goods. Any differences will either be refunded or invoiced to you via the method of payment initially selected in the original transaction. cannot take any action to process or fulfill any re-shipment until all invoices have been paid in full.

It is the customer's duty to cooperate with the receipt of the goods and to do everything reasonable to receive the goods. If a customer decides not to accept the goods for various reasons, reserves the right to charge a processing fee and shipping costs. The amount depends on the costs incurred and can be deducted in full from the refund of the purchase amount. This includes shipping costs, handling fees and any applicable customs duties or other fees.

We will accept returns other than for faulty goods only if the buyer has contacted us about the return in advance with a description of the reason for the return (eg. wrong perfume received). Return shipments to which have not been cleared by us in advance will not be accepted. If a return is accepted for a reason other than damage/defect, we will refund the item price of the goods returned. 

6. Product Malfunction

In the unlikely case of a pump/vaporizer malfunction, you can request a replacement pump for your perfume. The old pump can be screwed off and be replaced with the new pump.  ROELEN shall not held liable for any loss of perfume during the replacement process. 

7. Right of withdrawal

Whilst we at Roelen Perfume use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the site, we do not assume any liability or responsibility for any mistakes, errors or omissions in the content of the site. We exclude all warranties, whether express or implied, or representations as to its accuracy, timeliness or completeness. reserves the rights to withdraw from part or all terms and conditions and/or contracts based on these mistakes or inaccuracies.


8. Intellectual property is the owner of the designs, scents, brand names, texts or other proprietary graphic or trademark and content of this website. No part of this site or any derivative use of this website or its contents, may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, duplicated, modified, distributed, sold, resold, displayed, posted, exploited, or transmitted without express consent in writing. All content including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and/or software is the property of and our affiliates, and is protected by German and International copyright, intellectual property rights and database laws. All trademarks, logos, images, product names and company names and products featured on this website are the property of their respective owners, including us.

You are not permitted to access or use this website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way. You understand that you are solely responsible for all of the electronic communications sent from you to us at and you must use this website for lawful purposes only. You are not permitted to create and/or publish your own database or site that features part or substantial parts of this website without our written consent. Any violation to this term may result in civil and criminal law claims and/or actions.

All the information you provide to including your email address, delivery address and credit card details are strictly private and confidential. Roelen Perfume will not sell, rent, or disclose any of your personal details and information to any third parties without your prior express written consent. 


10. Salvatorian clause

If any of these terms or conditions is invalid or void, the other terms & conditions will remain intact.


11. Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by laws of Germany and by using you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany. Only German commercial and business law is applicable, EU-merchant-laws are excluded. Court of jurisdiction is in Berlin, Germany.
